It’s Wedding Cake Wednesday! Here we have a four tier cake with top and bottom layers of strawberry shortcake layered vanilla mousseline and fresh strawberries, the middle two tiers are chocolate raspberry cake, a rich chocolate cake filled with old fashion dark chocolate mousse and fresh raspberries covered in white chocolate buttercream!

Created for an upscale holiday gala in Washington, DC. These gingerbread houses sure made a statement as the centerpiece of our holiday buffets.

This pink and green wedding  presents a  lots of great shabby chic details, a unique butterfly theme, and many DIY projects! One of our favorite details are  centerpieces which consist of white washed frames with lined with vintage fabric that the bride collected and painted herself!

Sweet Charity 2011

Sweet Charity, benefiting the Heart of America Foundation was held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Monday April 25th, 2011. For our fifth consectutive year in a row, Executive Pastry Chef Laurent Lhuillier participated by creating delicious desserts for attendees to indulge in. Over 50 top chefs from the DC area demonstrated their skills for the 500 guests in attendance. Here are the desserts Chef Lhuillier created!
